Educational purpose

Vestwise is a free educational estimation tool. Its output is not individualized tax, legal, accounting, or investment advice, and does not create a professional-client relationship. It does not prepare or file a tax return or direct a stock transaction.

Scope and assumptions

The current model concerns 2026 US ordinary listed-company RSU vesting and settlement. It relies on the inputs you supply, a standard deduction, and an editable flat-rate state assumption. It excludes several taxes, deductions, credits, later sale gains, and cross-state or cross-border situations, as explained on the calculator and About page.

Verify before acting

Actual tax and withholding may differ because of award terms, timing, payroll methods, and your full financial circumstances. Check estimates against current official rules and your employer’s records, and obtain qualified advice before making filing, payment, or investment decisions.

The tool is provided as available. Errors or interruptions can occur, and no guarantee is made that an estimate is complete, accurate for your situation, or continuously available. Nothing here excludes rights or obligations that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
